CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Wednesday, February 15TH from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history. The event grew out of "Negro History Week," the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating black history.

STAND UP AND BE HEARD SELF ADVOCACY WORKSHOP SERIES
Wednesday, February 22nd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
No one knows what you need or want more than you. Self Advocacy is the ability to speak-up for yourself and the things that are important to you. Learn techniques on how to effectively self advocate during this round table, interactive session with the staff of FBCIL and other consumers.
Join us for a lively, productive session where you can stand up and be heard!

MOVIE AND GAME DAY
Friday, February 24h from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Want to have fun, watch a movie, play games and interact with others? Come see old friends or meet new ones? Join us for fun on the last Friday afternoon of the month.

T.O.P.S. WEEKLY CHAPTER MEETING
Every Tuesday in February from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon
We have begun a T.O.P.S. Chapter at FBCIL. Cost is $26.00 per year with no weekly/ monthly fees. Join us in our quest to lose weight sensibly. Take Off Pounds Sensibly with the philosophy that the best way to lose weight, achieve wellness and maintain a healthy lifestyle is by incorporating a balanced diet, regular exercise and continued support and encouragement.

Women on The Move!
Thursday, February 14th from 2:00-4:00 pm.
We are looking for women who are eager to share their Earth-moving ideas with others!

Men Of Vision and Empowerment
Tuesday, February 23rd from 2:00- 4:00 pm
Gather with peers to discuss various topics and issues of mutual interest and concern.
Seize the opportunity to share your vision and empower one's self and others!

One-on-One Computer Training
